About the Division
The Technology Services & Fleet Support Division provides the technical support that keeps Harris County Constable Precinct 5 connected, equipped, and ready to serve the community. The division is responsible for maintaining the agency's technology infrastructure while supporting the specialized technology installed in Precinct 5 patrol vehicles.
Technology Services
Technology Services manages the computers, mobile data terminals (MDTs), printers, network equipment, and other essential technology used throughout the agency. The division installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots hardware and software, supports critical systems, and provides technical assistance to employees to ensure reliable daily operations.
Fleet Support
Fleet Support focuses on the technology integrated into Precinct 5 patrol vehicles. This includes the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mobile computers, in-car cameras, radios, emergency lighting and siren systems, and other electronic equipment that deputies rely on while in the field.
Working alongside other agency personnel and service providers, the division helps ensure patrol vehicles remain fully equipped with the technology necessary to support law enforcement operations.
Supporting Precinct 5 Operations
Through its expertise in information technology and vehicle electronics, the Technology Services & Fleet Support Division provides the behind-the-scenes support that enables Precinct 5 personnel to communicate effectively, access critical information, and safely serve the citizens of Harris County.
