Complaint or Commendation Process
Any person who wishes to file either a complaint or commendation regarding the conduct of an employee of the Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 5, may do so by contacting one of two divisions within our department.
COMPLAINT:
Contact the Internal Affairs Division (IAD). You may contact IAD by phone, email, or in person, and an IAD investigator will then explain the procedure for filing the complaint or commendation. Once the complaint or commendation has been filed, the IAD investigator will take the appropriate action needed.
COMMENDATION:
Contact the Chairperson of the Awards Board by phone, email, or in person, to submit a commendation.
